Dallas-based Crestrock Homes announced Wednesday that they will be building in Lantana.
The homebuilder will take over in the Brazos neighborhood, which was previous handled by Altura Homes.
Crestrock will offer homes ranging from 1,900 to 3,100 square feet priced from the $230,000’s, and will focus primarily on one-story homes.
Mackey said that market research and buyer demand created the need for the patio-style home that Crestrock has chosen to build in Lantana.
Crestrock Homes has over 35 years combined experience in the homebuilding industry, according to owner Jim Mackey.
Mackey said that their floor plans reflect today’s buyers’ desire for customized design, open concepts, and no wasted space. All Crestrock Homes are Energy Star Certified.
Brazos at Lantana offers an above average lot width coupled with the openness of the adjacent lake, and is the only place in the community where the homes will not be crowded in together or even have another home behind them, said Mackey.
Construction of Crestrock’s model home is expected to begin in the coming weeks.
