I usually do not get politically involved other than to cast my votes at election time. However, in the past I have not always investigated thoroughly those who were running for each position. I met Robert Ramirez several years ago at a coffee he was holding for someone else. I cannot tell you how impressed I was with Robert. So when I heard of his running for Denton County Probate Judge I started asking questions and the same answers came up. Everyone responded what a really neat man he was and elaborated on his qualifications. The fact that he has handled more Probate and Guardianship cases than his opponents made me feel he definitely was the kind of Judge that would be fair and honest if I had to go before Probate myself.
