Children's Ministry

Vacation Bible School

At Breaker Rock Beach, kids will learn to recognize the difference between what the world says is true and what God says is true. Kids will be challenged to know that God’s truth never changes—even when it’s radically different from what some people say.

Music Ministry

Children’s & Preschool Choir

We have children's choir for kids 2nd-5th and preschool choir for kids 1st grade and under. We learn worship songs, dance, and have a good time with the younger ones. The older choir learns two musicals a year, one in May and one in December.

Meet Our Pastor

Brad Cockrell is a skilled communicator and ardent Bible teacher. Brad has served as senior pastor of Southmont Baptist Church since June of 2016. Brad is passionate about his calling as pastor and about shepherding well those whom God has entrusted to him at Southmont. His desire is to be a Bible based shepherd and wants to lead Southmont in full accordance with the will of God as revealed from His divinely inspired word.
