Foodie Friday: More to enjoy at Savory Bistro

Post Ad – Top

In our food-related conversations around town with various people, there’s one restaurant that we hear mentioned quite frequently – and that’s Savory Bistro located in the Bartonville Town Center. You’ve probably seen us write about them before since we first featured them here on our blog two years ago, but now there’s even more Savory Bistro to enjoy with their expanded patio, bar and dining area.

Savory Bistro introduced its new look in December after performing renovations to expand the restaurant to include a new bar and lounge area, as well as a larger patio space. And on beautiful days like today, there’s no place you’d rather be – trust me. You can enjoy any one of their four beers on tap which are all from right here in the great state of Texas, including Shiner Lite Blonde and craft beers from Adelbert’s Brewery in Dallas. Or you could give one of their unique liquors a try like their jalapeno tequila or their cherry bourbon. Or even one of their in-house micro barrel-aged liquors.

But if the bar isn’t quite your scene, there are lots of other great things you could enjoy on the patio at Savory Bistro. So I’ll tell you about some of the things we sampled at our lunch this week.

On their current menu, one of their most popular dishes is the Pan Seared Texas Redfish served with a Creamy Cajun Crawfish Sauce, twice baked chili yams and sweet bell peppers. It’s the second time this dish has made an appearance on the menu, and it’s definitely back due to popular demand! So, if seafood’s your thing, this is a fantastic choice.

We’d also recommend giving their fish tacos and the Cauliflower Curry Soup a try! The soup is made with coconut milk which adds just a hint of sweetness to offset the curry. Plus, look how pretty it is!

And (of course) we can never come to Savory Bistro and leave without ordering some of their Chocolate Pudding topped with sea salt and caramel and served with a peanut butter cookie. Every meal should end with a serving of this pudding. It’s that good.

We’re always glad to see our Foodie Friday restaurant owners enjoy continued success and growth, and were thrilled to see Savory Bistro’s new look for ourselves this week. If you haven’t been out to see the expansion yet either, we’d suggest you get yourself there to enjoy some time in the new lounge or out on the patio!

Happy eating this weekend, Foodies!
