The Boys & Girls Clubs of Denton County recently announced that Bryce Osborne, 12-year-old Lantana golfer and student at Harpool Middle School, has qualified as the youngest participant at their first $1 million Golf Shoot Out being held immediately following the 4th Annual Charity Golf Tournament this Thursday at the Lantana Golf Club.

The town of Flower Mound recently saw one of its own crowned a state champion, but it was not a Flower Mound or Marcus High School athlete.
Nikki Taylor, an eighth grader at Lamar Middle School, won the State Indoor Archery Championship in Waco in late February, in a field of more than 600 competitors.

Marcus will return six starters from this year's squad next season. |
