Thank you for a fantastic school year!  Thanks to your support of PTA, we have accomplished many things this year:

•    Funded buses for field trips
•    Art supplies for Mrs. Mcgee's art program
•    Book covering machine to preserve books for longer circulation in the library
•    Nook program running successfully in the library
•    Young author's week featuring our celebrity authors
•    Character lessons during red ribbon week
•    Largest daughter date dance to date

I would like to thank each person on the Board this year who put in so much time and effort into making all of our programs successful.  It is truly amazing what we can achieve when we all pull together for our children!

We are so fortunate that we have had Dr. Carrico with us for the past 5 years, pushing both the students and the staff to the high levels she has.  She has always been so supportive of our PTA the entire time she has been here and we couldn't do everything we do for the school, teachers and kids without that support.  We will miss you Dr. Carrico!

We are in a season of change--our district will have a new superintendent, our school will have a new principal, we are losing some families due to the rezoning of Country Lakes Estates, we will have new families move in as a result of all the new construction here within Lantana, etc.  But what an opportunity that is for the PTA Board!  We have already begun to look at the calendar for next year and are looking at making changes to some of our activities and even adding at least one new event.  We'll continue to plan over the summer so we are ready to present our calendar at our first meeting in September!

Enjoy your summer!  We'll see you at registration on August 2nd-3rd!
