Sixteen Flower Mound residents threw their hat into the ring to sit in Tom Hayden's vacant council seat.

Hayden had one year left on his two-year term in Place 5 when he was elected mayor this month.

Town council members will choose from literally an A-Z list of names, including community leaders, business owners and two former council members. Here are the applicants:

Mark Boutilier
Al Cloud
Claudio Forest
David Johnson
Jean Levenick
Joel Lindsey
Matthew Millard
Laile Neal
Garrick Palmer
Albert Picardi
Alfredo Sanchez
Marlo Senick
Keith "Si" Simonson
Eddie White
Andre Zwilling

The council is expected to conduct interviews with the applicants next Tuesday.
