Council member applications being accepted PDF Print E-mail

Now that the dust has settled from Saturday's election that promoted council member Tom Hayden into the mayor's seat, the Flower Mound Town Council is accepting applications for Hayden's open council seat through this coming Tuesday, May 22.

Hayden had one year left of his two-year term in the Place 5 seat.

A Town Council appointee must be a qualified voter of the town, at least 21-years-old on the first day of office, a Flower Mound resident for at least one year, not be an employee of the Town, and hold no other office except Notary Public or a member of the National Guard or naval or military reserve.
