Services set for Argyle teen PDF Print E-mail

A Memorial and Celebration of Life Service for Alex Betzhold, a popular Argyle seventh-grader who died unexpectedly on Tuesday,  will be held at Argyle United Methodist Church, 9033 Fort Worth Drive (Hwy 377) in Argyle this Sunday, Jan. 22, at 3:00 p.m.

The viewing will be Saturday, Jan. 21, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at DeBerry Funeral Home located at 2025 W. University, Denton.

The 13-year-old passed away in his sleep at home on Tuesday morning.  A cause of death has not yet been determined by the medical examiner’s office, but is thought to be related to a medical condition.

A candlelight vigil in remembrance of Betzhold, sponsored by Argyle Middle School Students Standing Strong, was held on Friday night at Argyle High School.
