An 18-year old Flower Mound man died Sunday night after flipping his car in west Flower Mound.

Police said that Walter Ramey was driving his 2005 Dodge Viper eastbound in the 4400 block of Flower Mound Road just before 8:30 p.m. when he struck the curb, crossed the intersection of Clearpoint Drive, and slammed into a brick pillar before landing on its roof.

Ramey was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash is still under investigation and police have not determined if alcohol contributed to the accident.
