FM man killed in motorcycle accident PDF Print E-mail

A Flower Mound man was killed after his motorcycle crashed into a car on FM 2499 Tuesday night.

Police said that Gary Wayne Truitt, 63, of Flower Mound was riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle southbound on FM 2499 near Target around 9:38 p.m., when a Volkswagen Beetle, driven by Chelsie Sechovec, 21, of Denton pulled out into his path from a retail driveway.

The motorcycle struck the Beetle, ejecting Truitt.

Truitt was transported to Flower Mound Presbyterian Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 10:06 p.m.  

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
