Wayward goats got the goat of a resident who spotted them wandering near Cross Timbers Church on Hwy 377.  The county animal control officer was called to assist with the roundup.

For the first time in Lantana's history, there will be a board member election in Denton County Fresh Water Supply District #7.

Incumbent Mike Shaw and Lantana residents Andrew W. Kloser, Tom McCullough, Robert Smith, and David J. Ware are vying for two at-large seats on the board of directors.
