A group of 2nd graders from McAuliffe Elementary School in Highland Village recently hosted a Heart to Heart fundraiser benefiting the Children's Advocacy Center for Denton County.

McAuliffe students Emma Francis, Audrey Glenn, Kailey Karchaske, Zach McClarnon, Collier Mershon, Sierra Scott, and Joseph Suarez (pictured with McAuliffe principal Jennifer Mattingly and CACDC executive director Dan Leal) raised $903 for the center at a charity event hosted by Boomerangs Party & Play in Flower Mound.

The center’s first annual gala fundraiser, Champions for Children, will be held at Circle ‘R’ Ranch in Flower Mound on February 20, 2010. For information, visit www.cacdc.org or call 972-317-2818.
