Things have gotten a little shinier in Lantana thanks to a new business on FM 407.

Kwik Kar Wash of Lantana opened its doors in late February and offers both a full service and express car wash, along with a complete vehicle detailing center housed in a 6,000 square-foot state-of-the-art facility.

The car wash features a stone exterior, consistent with Lantana’s Architectural Control guidelines, and is the third facility in the Kwik family offering the flex wash option; customers have the choice of a drive-through wash or a full-service cleaning.

Owners Joseph and Yvonne Halboth of Flower Mound run the facility with their three daughters, Brooke, Morgan, and Maddy.  The family decided to open in Lantana because they love the location and believe in the Kwik Kar business model.

“We were first introduced to Ray Ellis and Kwik Industries ten years ago when we expressed interest in a car wash facility in Keller,” Joseph Halboth said. “Although he had a ready buyer for that location, our interest in becoming a part of the Kwik family has never waned.”

Halboth said that he jumped at the chance to claim the Lantana Kwik location when he heard about it.

“Having raised our family and lived in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area for the past 27 years, we were looking for the right opportunity to become a part of the Kwik family.  Getting to know Ray and the Kwik business model we feel very fortune to have this opportunity in Lantana.”

The Kwik family has been providing self and full service solutions for vehicle needs, dry cleaning and laundry care for more than 40 years.

Each Kwik brand store is developed and built by Kwik Industries and sold to a buyer who will independently own and operate their unit.

Kwik Kar Wash is located next door to the Kwik Kar Oil and Lube on FM 407. A Kwik Dry Clean Supercenter is under construction just west of the car wash.

Kwik Kar Wash will officially celebrate its grand opening on Saturday, March 15.
