07-12-2013  7:15 p.m. – Alarm – 100 blk. Maple Leaf, Double Oak - Residential Alarm.  No crime detected.

07-12-2013  11:06 p.m. – Assist Agency (Disturbance) – 1200 blk. Fox Run, Bartonville – Double Oak Officer assisted with investigating a family dispute.

07-13-2013  10:18 p.m. – Alarm – 6100 blk. Kings Rd., Double Oak – Residential Alarm.  No crime detected.

07-15-2013  8:39 a.m. – Theft – 8100 blk. Justin Rd., Double Oak – An unknown person or person(s) entered a cellphone tower enclosure and removed ten batteries without permission.  Approximate value of missing batteries is $3,500.  If you observed any suspicious activity, persons or vehicles please call the Double Oak Police Department at (972) 434-5500.

07-15-2013  2:09 p.m. – Traffic Complaint – 3700 blk. Waketon Rd., Double Oak – Resident reported road crews turning around in their driveway and leaving construction materials in their ditch.

07-16-2013  1:13 a.m. – Suspicious Vehicle – 100 blk. Forest Park Dr., Double Oak – A resident reported an unknown vehicle parked in front of their home.  Attempts were made to contact the vehicle owner.

07-16-2013  6:06 p.m. – 9-1-1 Hang up Call – 300 blk. Thornhill Circle, Double Oak – Occupants were having trouble with their phone line.

07-17-2013  3:36 p.m. – Suspicious Circumstances – 1100 blk. Captial Dr., Lantana – Residents reported a man acting strangely and dancing in their neighborhood.  Officers did not locate anyone exhibiting strange behavior.

07-17-2013  7:30 p.m. – Motorist Assist – 100 blk. Kings Rd., Double Oak – Officer provided traffic control until the driver could get their car moving.

07-17-2013  8:36 p.m. – Burglary Report – 200 blk. Cross Timbers Dr., Double Oak – A resident reported missing property that upon further investigation was determined to have been removed by her estranged husband.  Report is civil in nature. 

07-17-2013  11:32 p.m. – Disturbance – 100 blk. Park Ln., Double Oak – Family dispute that was verbal in nature.

07-18-2013  2:08 p.m. – Ordinance Violation – 400 blk. Simmons Rd., Double Oak – A motorist reported illegal dumping.

07-18-2013  7:15 p.m. – 9-1-1 Hang up Call – 200 blk. Whispering Oaks Dr., Double Oak – Officer checked on residents and all was okay.

07-18-2013  9:58 p.m. – Open Door – 6200 blk. Pepperport Ln., Double Oak – A homeowner found a door to their residence unsecure. 

07-20-2013  8:39 a.m. – Alarm – 2600 blk. F.M. 407, Bartonville – New construction alarm.  No criminal activity detected.

07-20-2013  9:07 a.m. – Civil Dispute – 200 blk. Cross Timbers Dr., Double Oak – A resident contacted police regarding an ongoing property dispute with his estranged spouse.  Resident advised to speak with his attorney.

07-20-2013  2:20 p.m. – Civil Dispute – 200 blk. Cross Timbers Dr., Double Oak – Resident upset that her estranged husband entered their residence to retrieve property.  Resident advised to speak with her attorney.

07-21-2013  6:44 a.m. – Criminal Mischief – 100 blk. Eagles Peak Ln., Double Oak – Mailbox damaged by unknown vehicle.

07-21-2013  1:53 p.m. – Alarm – 6100 blk. Kings Rd., Double Oak – Residential alarm.  Contact was made with homeowner.  No crime detected.

07-22-2013  4:45 p.m. – Theft – 8100 blk. Justin Rd., Double Oak – Batteries removed from cell phone tower.  Approximate loss placed at $4,200.  If you observed any suspicious activity, persons or vehicles please call the Double Oak Police Department at (972) 434-5500.

07-24-2013  8:27 a.m. – Burglary of a Vehicle – 200 blk. Lake Trail Ct., Double Oak – A resident reported that their car was entered without permission and $1,600 dollars was taken during the night time.

07-24-2013  5:00 p.m. – Accident – 400 blk. Waketon Rd., Double Oak – Minor accident involving two vehicles.

07-25-2013  7:41 p.m. – Suspicious Activity – 100 blk. Knob Hill Ln., Double Oak – A witness reported a male, wearing dark clothing and riding a motorcycle taking photos of residences in located on Knob Hill Ln. and Fox Trot Ln.

07-27-2013  9:28 p.m. – Theft – 200 blk. Cross Timbers Dr., Double Oak – Complainant reported that an unknown person had stolen money from inside their residence.

07-28-2013  10:09 p.m. – Harassment – 100 blk. Lake Trail Dr., Double Oak – Reporting Person reported disturbing messages being received on her juvenile son's phone.  

07-29-2013  9:24 a.m. – 200 blk. North Hill Ct., Double Oak – Resident reported their license plate stolen or lost.

07-30-2013  2:02 a.m. – False Report - 800 blk. Cross Timbers, Double Oak – A person made multiple phone calls about a possible underage drinking party.

07-31-2013  9:01 p.m. – Harassment – 5500 Chinn Chapel Rd., Double Oak – Reporting Person concerned about former tenants.

07-31-2013  11:24 p.m. – Disorderly Conduct – 100 blk. Hawk Crest Ln., Double Oak – Unknown person ringing door bell.

08-01-2013  11:32 a.m. – Open Residence – 100 blk. Forest Ln., Double Oak – Officer found an unsecure residence and spoke with the homeowner.

08-01-2013  8:12 p.m. – Disturbance – 1600 blk. Barrington Hills Blvd., Bartonville – Double Oak provided assistance with the investigation of a disturbance.  Officer departed after the arrest of an offender for assault.

08-01-2013  10:36 p.m. – Burglary – 100 blk. Twin Lakes, Double Oak – Reporting Party returned home after having been gone for approximately six weeks and found that a television and jewelry had been removed from the residence.

08-03-2013  12:28 p.m. – Open Door – 300 blk. E. Carruth, Double Oak – A citizen reported that a neighbor's house was unsecure.  Officers did not find any evidence of criminal activity.

08-03-2013   7:31 p.m. – Disturbance – 700 blk. Stone Crest, Argyle – Double Oak assisted with the investigation of a family disturbance.  An arrest was made and the suspect was transported to Denton County Jail.

08-04-2013  10:06 a.m. – Accident – Hawk and Red Rock, Flower Mound – Double Oak officer assisted Flower Mound with investigation into a bicycle and vehicle collision.

08-04-2013  8:56 p.m. – Disturbance – 8700 blk. Cherry Lee, Lantana – A homeowner reported a large gathering of young males who appeared to be fighting.  Upon arrival officers spoke to one of the involved parties and determined that it was a disturbance over skateboarding.

08-06-2013  11:42 p.m. – Water Main Break – 5900 blk. Chinn Chapel., Double Oak – Assisted in determining jurisdiction for a water main break repair.  Officer contacted Bartonville Water Supply and remained on scene until their arrival.

08-08-2013  1:11 a.m. – Alarm – 100 blk. Eagles Nest, Double Oak – Neighbors reported hearing an audible alarm from a residence.  Upon further investigation it was determined to be a water pump alarm.

08-08-2013  11:31 a.m. – Assist Fire Department – 200 blk. Lake Trail Ct., Double Oak – Officers assisted with medical call until arrival of paramedics and fire department personnel.

08-10-2013  4:48 p.m. – 911 Hangup – 3800 blk. Prairie Ct., Double Oak – Dispatch received a 9-1-1 call in which they could hear talking and crying.  Upon further investigation it was determined that the call was accidentally made by an adult male and the crying was a two-year-old child.

08-11-2013  1:36 p.m. – Suspicious Circumstances – 500 blk. Simmons Rd., Double Oak – Officer notified of a possible blown transformer after a loud buzzing noise and then a boom.  Caller contacted the electrical company and officer was unable to find a blown transformer.

08-13-2013  9:35 p.m. – Disturbance – 200 blk. Lake Trail Ct., Double Oak – An argument between adults regarding living arrangements.  No complaints filed.

08-15-2013  10:29 a.m.. – Identity Theft – 200 blk. Fox Trot Ln., Double Oak – A resident reported a compromise of personal financial information.

08-17-2013  1:42 a.m. – Suspicious Circumstance – 100 blk. Lake Trail Dr., Double Oak – Juveniles playing "ring and run" at a residence early in the morning.

08-17-2013  12:16 p.m. – Fraud – 100 blk. Maple Leaf, Double Oak – A resident reported that an unknown telephone caller wanted to give him money for "…being a good citizen." 

08-19-2013  10:11 p.m. – Harassment – 3900 blk. Chapel Ct., Double Oak – Report of repeated harassment by telephone.

08-20-2013  7:44 p.m. – Issuance of Bad Check – 1100 blk. Cross Timbers Dr., Double Oak – Report taken regarding issuance of a bad check.

08-21-2013  10:34 p.m. – Medical Emergency – 8000 blk. Owens St., Denton Cnty. – DOPD officer responded and secured the scene of a medical emergency for fire department personnel.

08-29-2013  5:41 p.m. – Accident – 7800 blk. FM 407, Denton County – Three car accident.
