Lewisville ISD is considering rezoning proposals for the nine elementary and three middle schools in the Flower Mound High School feeder pattern.
Last fall, LISD formed a committee comprised of two parents from each school in the feeder pattern charged with researching and developing scenarios that balance student population.
The committee whittled the options down to two rezoning proposals each for the elementary and middle schools on Tuesday night.
The school district will hold community meetings at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 6, at Forestwood Middle School and at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 12, at McKamy Middle School to discuss the boundary proposals.
Following the community meetings, the committee will reconvene to consider suggestions and requests before presenting a final proposal to the LISD Board of Trustees in March.
Visit the Flower Mound Boundary Committee webpage for more information.

"Are you so naive to think that Stephenson was going to list her corporate donations? Once again, give us a break and stop insulting the intelligence of the citizenry of our community."

"Agreed that her campaign treasurer is an ethical person, but who questioned the ethics and character of her campaign treasurer?"
Quotes
Are you even kidding me?
Agreed that her campaign treasurer is an ethical person, but who questioned the ethics and character of her campaign treasurer? Nobody. Wasn't the charge that she did not assign a campaign treasurer by the deadline and contributions were received prior to the assignment of a treasurer?
Please answer the above for all of us and it can be out to rest.
Oh wow, I made a mistake and said manager instead of treasurer. Well, there goes my character. She had a treasurer. A treasurer who is one of the most ethical people I know.
No spin here. You have that covered. And you are crossing the line saying people are naive believing that contributions weren't listed.
Crossing a big line.
The constant unfounded accusations are wearing thin. Back up what you say or stop.
A fake name does not give you authority to endlessly slander someone you don't like. There is a long trail and history of this defamation and I am asking you to stop saying anything that is not true.
Are you so naive to think that Stephenson was going to list her corporate donations? Once again, give us a break and stop insulting the intelligence of the citizenry of our community.
It is clear you think using the wrong forms and correcting a mistake is unethical and your entitled to think whatever you want. The other charges weren't supported by evidence. So doesn't that mean that whoever filed it was wrong?
Are you one of those who believe that if you keep repeating misinformation then people will start to believe it OR have you not read the document filed by the TEC?
Who handed her the wrong papers if it wasn't a town employee?
When you decide to put your hat in the ring don't you go to the townhall yourself and fill out a form and don't you get a packet?
I didn't see any mention of filling out an incorrect form just being seriously late on her reports
Sounds to me like you just took someone's spin on these charges and ran with it without doing any research.
One violation had to do with not having a TREASURER appointed in a timely fashion per statute NOT a manager.
What did you just say?????
Did I even mention NFL?
Yes, she had a campaign manager.
More charges and not enough evidence? What, the wrong color ink?
What kind of violation is filling out the wrong form?
Darn it, I know it must be frustrating, so go back to throwing out
whatever you can think of....
Before you announce where her focus is - maybe you should figure out yours.
"The big violation? She signed the wrong form that was handed to her to file for candidacy. "
You are acting like that was the only charge -- it would serve her well for her to admit it.
Is it true that she didn't appoint a campaign treasurer according to the laws and was seriously late with filing her reports?
There were more charges too but there wasn't enough evidence.
Today is when I read the ethics document. It states very clearly what the fine was and that this was NOT a technical violation; therefore, it would be public info. So don't try to paint me as an NFL insider.
BTW, the reason I took my time to read it is because you tried to gloss over it and call it an accidental mistake. I wanted the truth.
I've always wanted to believe in her, but over and over she's hurt my trust and faith-- I know now where her focus is and I am sorely disappointed.
