anyone got a travel agent you can recommend?

for flights i use myself, but for cruises and hotels esp high end a good agent can get you perks that you can't get yourself.

I traveled last year with another couple, 6 different hotels, all found by me, booked with the travel agent and the other guys used the website.

I got upgrades at every location, and they didn't.

My guy isn't taking new people however.

but if you are going book at the four seasons or mandarin oriental, make sure you get an agent it is very worth it.

I always book Domestic myself, but after looking into a trip to Singapore with 20 plus hours of travel and eight to fourteen layover hours plus multiple connections, airports, time changes, etc. It was much easier to use a travel agent. That way you have someone else to blame when your hotel reservation is one day behind because you didn't figure the time right!

still havent found a travel agent I tried one suggested here was not impressed
