Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms will affect areas along and northeast of a Graham...Glen Rose...Franklin line. Small hail and wind gusts over 40 mph, as well as very heavy rain and cloud to ground lightning will accompany some of the storms. A few storms may briefly become severe...producing large hail and wind gusts over 60 mph.

More storms have formed off the dryline and moved into west Texas this evening. This activity is moving east around 35 mph and could affect northwest parts of North Texas after 2 to 3 am. It is possible storms could hold together and affect the I-35 corridor as well, but this remains very uncertain and will be monitored overnight. Strong storms containing gusty winds to 45 mph, small hail, and frequent lightning will be possible as the atmosphere remains unstable.
