From the Denton County Sheriff's Office:

On 04/28/2012, Deputies responded to a residence in the 1400 block
of Burnett Drive in Heritage in reference to a suspicious person.
Upon arrival, Deputies spoke with the complainant who stated someone
had entered her vehicle without consent.

The complainant said on 04/28/2012, at approximately 1:00AM., her
neighbor knocked on her door and informed her that someone had broken
into her vehicle. The neighbor said was in his office at his residence
when he heard a vehicle in the cul-de-sac. The neighbor looked
out his window and saw a white pickup truck parked in front of the
complainant’s residence. The neighbor witnessed the passenger
(a white, heavy set male wearing shorts and baseball cap) get out
of the pickup and look into the complainant’s vehicle. The neighbor
said he went outside and yelled at the subject. The subject ran and
got back into the pickup. The truck was last seen heading north on
Burnett Drive. The neighbor said he then knocked on the complainant’s
door and notified her that someone had been in her vehicle.
The complainant said she had left her vehicle unlocked but nothing
appeared to be missing.

The case is under investigation.

From the "No good deed goes unpunished" file...

On 05/21/12, police were dispatched to 8900 block of Charles St. in Azalea for a theft report. The victim explained that his neighbor's house was foreclosed on and no one had lived at the home for some time. He said that he contacted the Lantana HOA and received permission to drain his neighbor's pool because it was green and had snakes, frogs, and mosquitos in it. He used a water pump, water hose, and an extension cord to drain the pool. A couple of days later, his neighbor came to the house and took the items before the victim could make it next door to explain why he was draining the pool. The stolen property was valued at $390. The man wished to press charges against his neighbor for the theft but all he had was a phone number that was disconnected.

From the Denton County Sheriff's Office:

On 6/8/2012, Deputies responded to a Suspicious Persons call in the 1600 block of Conner Way in Kendall after a resident reported seeing three teen boys inside a spec home. It was determined that the subjects were smoking marijuana in the empty house. The boys left the scene in a red jeep before police arrived.

On 6/15/2012, Deputies responded to a Suspicious Person call in the 8600 block of Bayberry Ave. in Bandera when an unwanted late night visitor came calling. A couple heard their door bell ring just after 3 a.m. and saw an unknown man on their doorstep, described as white wearing a black T-shirt and blue jeans. The husband talked to the man through the door but he would not leave. The subject appeared intoxicated and kept saying "Are we open?" and "I’m a brother, I mean no harm." A deputy arrived and took the man into custody. He was issued a citation for Public Intoxication and was taken to a home he was visiting in the 1300 block of Firewheel Way in Bandera and released to a responsible person.
