Just think how the global warming protestors must be feeling. It'll be late spring before they can do another prolonged protest.

I really dont mind the snow again and below freezing temps. A prolonged freeze lasting a few days kills any bugs and bug eggs. This can turn into a more less bug filled summer.

To add to that, it has been a snow-free freeze. Snow enables the eggs to survive.

Actually, the "global warmers" predicted that warmer air would carry more moisture and that storm systems would be more severe.

I read that too. Great spin! Not much science there, but they are in the theory phase at this point since they are working with a developing science. It'll take years before testing can prove anything, but in the meantime, like evolution, NPR and News 8 will be reporting it as fact. It's interesting how more moisture from a warming environment creates colder air . . . again; News 8 and NPR will be reporting it as fact.

I guess the snow is too much for DirecTV - haven't had reception for almost three hours and counting. Does anyone else have satellite dish reception?

I have reception on my DirecTV. I went out and brushed the snow cover off of the dish a little while ago... :D
