Truck egged

Postby admin » Mon Jul 02, 2012 4:04 pm

Thread posted on Lantana HOA site today regarding a vandalism incident made me chuckle (names have been removed to protect the innocent)...

Last night our truck was egged on Meadows Ave. I thought we had left stuff like this behind when we moved from Denton. Very disappointed.

We had the same thing happen to us a couple of weeks ago on Meadows.

Are you all parking your trucks in the street? That's a no-no.

We don't have a truck and we were visiting friends for a couple of hours.

Well, my solution would be to walk over to your friend's if they live in Lanatana and leave your car in the garage. .

I have a right to park in front of my house.

there is hoa rule that you are suppose to keep cars off streets. of course no one follows this rule.

what is purpose of a garage? to park your car inside to keep it safe

Our vehicle does not fit in a garage and we were parked on a side street we live on a corner. Are you missing an egg?

Now this is just about the saddest excuse I have heard yet. Have you not heard of of something called planning?

I'm sry you disapprove

you should have measured your vehicle before you bought it. or vise versa. you should have measured your garage before you bought your house.

a street is a street and you are not supposed to park in the streets

And I would like to add. A sidewalk is a sidewalk for people to walk on not a dang parking lot for your cars.

They all signed papers that said they would use their garage for parking their cars and they would keep their cars in the garage.

No you don't. Read the agreements you signed when you bought the house.

It's nice to know that our neighbors care more about where the car was parked than the fact that someone is vandalizing cars.

 People provide the greatest entertainment making silly fools of themselves. I suppose that should be sad....

It's funny how an HOA has such massive powers to some people. The streets are public are they not? ;)

Given enough time, some people with a keyboard and internet connection can be proven to be stupid. Present company excluded.
