they raised our market value by 60,000

Ouch. Go there asap, ans ask them to see the comps they based their valuation on. Worked a treat for me one year, my tax bill dropped back to a level of about 5-6 year previously.

Ours barely moved, only went up 0.61% and that was strictly improvement value, the land value didn't change.

A chicken coop improvement won't raise the value by much. :lol:
