The only entrance appears to be off Chinn Chapel - that's interesting, considering the condition of that road. It would also appear that the "retail" designated area east along 407 is where the nicest native trees are - goodbye. :(

Don't worry, they'll fix it. More roads are always good, right? Old oak trees, not so much.

I might be looking at it wrong but when I look at the picture I see an entrance to the north east which may be the current mcdonalds entrance and then one in the southeast which would go into behind target? Back when they were thinking about soccer fields on chinn chappel between dixon/waketon they had mentioned chinn chappel would be getting some improvements but they would come sooner if they built the fields. I'd expect them to fix up the road between dixon and 407 when they put in Academy.
Did I miss an announcement somewhere on what they are doing between dixon and waketon? Seems they are pushing alot of dirt around but no signs?

Yes, I see that now. I completely missed it upon first glance.

It's for those highly sought after luxury homes. I hear they have a waiting list of people to buy each one. Yes, the location is that desirable for $400k+ homes! I think it's the lovely views. Just look at how fast the lots across the street are getting snapped up. I think they're selling at a rate of something like 1.3 per year. :)

Development officials said the type of restaurants Flower Mound can expect in this project are sit-down dining establishments, with some of them being chain restaurants with limited locations

Yay? We wanted more of them? :(

Hmm, let's see, where do I go to a chain restaurant with "limited locations"...Buca di Beppo? Texas de Brazil, Logan's Roadhouse, Romano's Macaroni Grill, Fuddruckers, Gloria's, Babe's, PF Chang.. is this what they're talking about? I wouldn't mind seeing some of these (maybe not Fuddruckers, though - too many burger places already).

The developer specifically mentioned Houston's at the meeting last night.

Love Houston's Restaurant and they should do well with our demographics.

The menu doesn't seem to be different from any one of the other restaurants in this area.

Trust me. It's a quality establishment with great food and very consistent. They were the first restaurant to have the concept that all the wait staff serves you when you need something and lead others by example. Just hope the rumor is true.

There is Houston's located on Belt Line near the toll road in Addison. Go on a date night. You won't be disappointed.

Houston's is good, or was when I used to go a lot, back in the 80's-90's and I admit that would be a change, so I guess for chain, it is high end....and at least something different.

A buddy, back in the day, was a waiter at the one on Walnut Hill which was a cool location for hanging out and meeting local celeb's slumming. :D
