I thought they were supposed to begin construction on the grocery store/shopping center once they got 407 curved by the water tower, but it's been a while, and I don't see anything happening. Additionally, when will all the stuff by Sonic be built? The "coming soon" signs have been there for years now.

More than likely will be Kroger

I would disagree. A combo HEB/CM hybrid stores they have would be a perfect fit here. Kroger Signature store is ok but not the same concept that HEB has incorporated.
Either way, hope Target has a alternative strategy plan. Once that new grocery store goes up, my investment in Target will drop dramatically. And I would guess the same for the 7k homes in Lantana.

Its a high end HEB. But since HEB owns Central Market, many of amenities of what makes up a CM (visually, products, etc) is integrated into HEB. My parents in Houston area has one close and its a great place.
