Seeing your new logo, I propose you rename your handle to "Cheap-gas-Al." :P

Especially since the logo "common sense Al" is more of a misnomer. :D

You guys are funny. First, it's not a "logo", it's an avatar. Second, "Common Sense Al" is 100% accurate. :D

It's more appropriate to look at 'world' oil consumption which has increased by about 25% since 1993. Further look at continued forecasted growth in the developing world compared to forecasted discovery of 'new' oil.

These forecasts are what keep the speculators in business. The 'developed' world is becoming less of a factor, though obviously another recession would slow growth and drop prices again. They'll come right back up though until you find a magical abundant, non-poluting, 'doesn't impact anyone' energy source.

You shouldn't use that "avatar" since you didn't pop out of your large test tube until 2 dollar gas. I remember 24.9 gas at 121 and 35 E back when a Fina station was there. And no I wasn't born before WW1. And yes your handle can be CS AL, if you want it to be. But IMHO it doesn't fit your comments. You need to spew some CS first.

What? 8800+ posts is not enough CS for you?

Oh well, some people wouldn't recognize CS if it hit them right between the eyes. :D

Disagree number of posts is directly proportional to CS.

Maybe Al will use his superpowers and stick it on the appropriate thread?

I got my cape, found a phone booth (that was really hard to do), and fixed it for you... now I am back at my regular disguise as a mild-mannered software engineer with my Gunnar computer eyewear.

Unless he said I made him cry, I betcha he can handle it. He has before. And will again. But thanks, Uther for the heads up. I might go easier on him from here on out. Don't want to hurt yours or his feelings. (sniffle)

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-05-16/oil-at-six-month-low-on-rising-stockpiles-greek-crisis.html

Why in Sam Hill are fuel prices still so high? More oil than 1990? We're getting the short end of a long stick here. Flower Mound doesn't want an NG collection station, but maybe they could handle a frickin' Gasoline/ diesel refinery to get the prices down.
