A strong storm system will move through the southern Plains by Monday. Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop during the day. Some of these storms are expected to be severe with large hail and damaging winds. In addition to the severe weather...this system has the potential to produce very heavy rainfall for a prolonged period of time. Some areas of north and northeast Texas may pick up in excess of 4 to 6 inches of rain through Tuesday. www.srh.noaa.gov/fwd

A slow moving upper low will help generate numerous showers and thunderstorms across North Texas Monday and Tuesday. Widespread rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches can be expected with isolated amounts in excess of 6 inches possible. Heaviest rainfall will be located along and east of Interstate 35/35E. www.srh.noaa.gov/fwd

On Monday, Paid weather nuts said it would rain Wed. thru Sun. Not a drop so far. I'll believe it when I see it. Thanks for the heads up. Tops aren't going up on the jeeps till 2 inches on the floorboards.

Sorry about that.

I was wondering about my fence and other fences as well... I suspect there may be a lot of fences blowing down in Lantana if the posts have rotted over time. I'm assuming the bottom of your fence posts were rotting?
