Admin goes to jail!

Postby admin » Thu Mar 08, 2012 3:27 am

I'm proud to tell you that I'm going "behind bars" to help in the fight against muscle disease. I'm joining other community leaders to help raise critical funds for MDA, and I need your help to reach my bail!

The Lewisville Area Lock-Up takes place at noon today (3/8/12), but I'm raising my bail before I go to jail! All you have to do is click here to make a secure, online donation today. Your support will help families living in our community with muscle disease, and help guarantee that I get out of jail.

Please support me in this important goal by visiting my fundraising page and making a contribution. Your tax-deductible donation makes a difference to the hundreds of kids, adults and their families who live right here in our local community.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Thanks,

Max

Please donate to MDA here!

Would be interesting if we could pay to keep you *in* jail! :P See how long this charade lasts. Will you e mixing with the general population, eating their food, etc?

Edit: I'd have made a *small* dontion if they took Paypal, but I'm not about to give all my particulars to a donations site. Can we drop off the money somewhere in small, unmarked bills?
I finally found an avatar that works!

I'm with Uther. Never been ripped by PayPal, but don't give info to unknowns. I'll swing by The Grotto with a nominal check to stay under radar, but "you ain't raising enough to get out anyway". Has to be a check because my wife doesn't let me keep more than 2 or 3 bucks in my pocket at any one time. And since my name is on the check, I hope I can retain anonymity, and not have my name blurted on the web. If not , no dice.

And if you don't get out today, I'll swing by the Gulag with a 20 spot for your account. That way you can at least purchase a toothbrush, some toothpaste, a clean pair of shorts and some tobacco products.

No prob. Bet you aren't close to getting out, yet. Never donated to MDA before. Most of my donations are to local nursing homes or the Denton State school, and it usually takes a check to get me out of either. The staff keeps ushering me back to a wheel chair, to get me back to, where they think is my room. Sometimes escape is impossible, and I have to call my wife to insist to staff, that I am not a current client.

Let me guess. Chief Russ Kerbow brought you your Sonic burger with no cheese, personally. I am usually never allowed to keep my laptop, cell phone nor anything I might hang myself with (including shoelaces), when incarcerated in the Lewisville Gulag. (of course that was years ago in another time and another place)

Care to name a few other community leaders, locked up with you, sharing brie, shrimp cocktails and Hawaiian punch, during your "travails"?

She wouldn't let me pick up my neighbor's mail last week, because their software was changed, my name was no longer on my neighbor's list for pickup, my neighbor was pissed that I wasn't any longer on the list, so she doesn't count as a community leader. But do go on.

I wanna hear that you heard Mayor Sue tuggin' on Mellisa Northern's skirt saying "nobody's paying a dime for either of us to get out of here, so I'm jumping the wall with the razor wire and taking my chances. Follow me ". And then you watched them high tail it to a convenience store for some Red Bull and a bag of Pork rinds.

This post could be lost on some. It's a ramble.
