Interesting AmEx CC offer

I received an advert for an AmEx CC that contained a USB key. It said put it in for more information. I couldn't resist so I put it in. DIdn't seem to work on my main computer but it did on my notebook.

Very interesting! It installed as a USB input device, then proceeded to open my start menu and type in a URL in the run dialog to take me to the web page for the CC. I could see the letters appear as it typed them. Seems like a security problem as this seems to open the door to a lot of "evil" things that can be done... anyway, has anyone heard about anything like this before? This is new for me.
