Will & Trust Lawyer Recommendations Needed

Postby martychgo » Fri Oct 21, 2011 9:11 am

Hello all, my family is in need of a really good Will & Trust lawyer. Your recommendations (name, comments and contact information) will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Robert Widmer in Denton is great with wills, but the trusts he set up for me, I don't think anybody understands. Too complicated. But the more complicated the better if you are into Generation Skipping Trusts.

Elsey, whaddya say. Used to help coach him in fall baseball 15 years ago, and what a prima donna. Couldn't trust him on the mound, and wouldn't now. CTG advertising aside. I recommend word of mouth. Good Lawyers are a dime a dozen. Look at gas leasing, for example. Not one local gas leasing lawyer has a fricking clue, as to what they are doing, and screwing people in the process. Same with wills and trusts.

I would like to add that he was our next door neighbor at one time and we did use him for our will/trust and were pleased. :D

I guess you have to do a pretty good job for neighbors, as you don't want to tick one off if you can help it. You know where they live. I hope yours is only a few pages and not the 1/2 inch thick document I got done that requires 300 bucks a year for me to go ask "What's all this crap mean, again"?

if you can get a lawyer to do a doc that's half an inch thick for 300 dollars you are getting an amazing deal. 300 bucks is what 5-10 pages cost me. not that they charge by the page.

300 bucks a year to help explain it. 15 grand to set it up. Go figga.
