No kidding. I think every one of these involves admitted unlocked cars and/or open garages. How easy are people making it for the kids that are stealing that stuff so easily? So ya, I'm making the assumption that it's kids since it's easy marks/sitting ducks.

Unless you know more than you're aluding to ...

No, just stirring the pot. It could be anyone, contractors or whatever, but kids are easier to slip by right in front of you an not look out of place as they're going "shopping" when cars are left out and open.

From the Denton County Sheriff's Office:

On 6-12-11, Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 300 block of Conroe St. in Magnolia
in reference to a criminal mischief report. Upon arrival the Complainant stated an unknown person(s)
damaged her back door while attempting to gain entry. The Complainant stated the glass pane in her door
was shattered. She also observed what appeared to be pry marks around the lock areas on the door.
She stated the last known time the door was undamaged was 6-08-11. The Complainant stated on 6-09-11
her back yard was mowed by her lawn service. The Complainant stated she did not believe that the glass
was damaged by an object that was struck by the lawn service. She also stated that no entry was made
into her home and no items were missing.

It appeared the damage started at the bottom of the door. The pry marks around the door locks appeared
to have possibly been made during the installation of the locks due to the lack of damage to the outside of
the door frame. Photographs were taken of the scene and placed into evidence at the Denton County
Sheriff`s Office.

If the resident was concerned, why didn't they call 911 as they were watching 2 whites dude loading up 20-25 squares of shingles into an Impala instead of going to a builders office, who waited until the next day to call (rhetorical). It could have been 6 purple dudes, but 20-25 squares of shingles in an Impala? Really? That's like a Toyota Corolla backed up to a gate loading 2 horses. In the world I live in, it's not normal!

best thing to do when you see something questionable, take down the license plate, type make model of vehicle and descriptions of individuals. We have no dedicated police here in Lantana, so note all information the more info the better to give to the police. We have to work together as a community.

Agreed. Even with one lone cop running around Lantana on a 5x12 shift still wont see/hear/catch everything.

Does anyone have any information on what happened on Perkins Dr last night? There were multiple police cars, a fire truck, and an ambulance at one house. We heard screaming, and a neighbor walking says that the cops were talking with a group of young teens?

??? It was a suicide attempt. I doubt they were willing death to come. Since it involved someone allegedly attempting to take their life, the method is irrelevant as the method was intended for their self.
