Sweet. Another council to pick on with some new juicy tid bits. Was wondering when Bonnie would come out with both 6 shooters a' blazin. Hard to keep a candidate silent these days, with "justice on line", and her position on the line.

Can't imagine why nobody has made a reality TV show about Texas small town politics.

Landrum I know, nice guy (don't know about the church/city hall deal but sounds like financial savvy). The woman I don't know (name sounds like a snow bird).
But the other guys signs were everywhere on Country club Rd. today. Interesting criminal record. DWI, so far not guilty. But the bar room stuff, as my mother often said "you boys fight it out amongst yourselves". Don't know the circumstances, but today, too many cops, too many laws.

“I’m hoping to clean up the corruption that plagues our current council,” said Matt Smith, one of three candidates up for election.

Wonder if he thinks it looks like easy money and wants a piece of it. :D I noticed his picture is missing from the meet the candidates. Isn't there one on the Denton County Criminal Records site? Or do they not post mug shots? :o

I've used up almost all of my humorous energy for today. I think I'll go take a nap. :D

Looks like Landrum & Schroetke are splitting the vote and helping "Mad" Matt Smith.

Guess we need to rename him Mayor "Teflon" Smith. He and Place 2 candidate David Wintermute silenced the town with victories over incumbents Greg Landrum and Wayne Holt tonight.

looks final in Argyle. 100% reporting. Are you in "command central". Incumbents are ousted. What voter guts.
