myself being a forever purple & gold LSU fan, i can tell you that i yelled ROLL TIDE more in 1 afternoon that i've ever cursed it during a game. I was thrilled that Alabama dealt the death blow to urban meyer's team. although many that watched the game laughed at Tim Tebow sitting on the sidelines crying, i honestly was moved by the shot. Here is a stellar athlete that has given his heart to the gators and goes out a loser after playing some tough teams all season. I can tell you that Nick Saban will continue to build Bama up into a SEC/National Championship team for years to come - - - - unless he gets a better deal and bolts like he did Michigan St., LSU, & Miami Dolphins. if Bama can keep him they will continue to have great success. He is one of the BEST recruiters there is in NCAA ball.
I will be yelling Roll Tide again when they hook the horns in Pasadena.
Good luck to em.

works, my wife is a BIG LSU fan, but she wasn't as thrilled as you on Saturday, she basically said "I cheer for any team playing against the Gators". so much for that!

We'll be able to add that to the list of "famous last words".

Congrats to Bama. But, I hate when star players can't play in championship games. I want both teams to be at full strength.

Richard,
I am with you on that, you hate to see an injury take the best guy out. I am already fed up with "what ifs" on the radio and TV, it will always say 2009-Alabama, not 2009-Alabama (Colt got injured).

Yeah. They only thing that I think is safe to say is that the game would have been very different if Colt had played. What the outcome would have been is anyones guess.
