Denton Council member to host town hall meeting

A Denton City Council member will host a town hall meeting in far south Denton later this month to have more dialogue with the city’s residents.

Council Member Paul Meltzer, who serves the city at-large, will host the town hall meeting from 6-7:30 p.m. on June 25, Meltzer said. He will provide an update on recent council activity, but the primary focus of the town hall is to answer residents’ questions and hear their concerns.

The meeting will be held in the Community Room at Denton Fire Station 7, 4201 Vintage Boulevard, near Interstate 35W and FM 2449. Meltzer said Denton Assistant Fire Chief Brad Lahart will be a special guest at the town hall and will tell residents about how the station serves nearby neighborhoods, including Robson Ranch.
