Too bad our system is dysfunctional or problems could have been fixed better and sooner... but I'll take moving forward, even if it is imperfect, over not moving at all.
Besides, there's no such thing as a significant healthcare fix that everybody likes. Too much ignorance and too many special interests involved, especially those who benefit & profit most from the dysfunction in the system.
