First, I sure hope you are not taking care of preemies (didn't you say you did that?)... I would never want someone with your views and hatred & disrespect toward men and new life taking care of my baby/child. I'm sure my wife or sister wouldn't want that either (and they are women so you should respect their views).

Second, what's a moran?

Third, why do you keep coming back?

I know of a lot of cases where people are hooked to breathing machines and are not "viable" if not for the machines. They happen to be 80+ years old though...should we kill them? I mean...if viability is the standard....

Great question - another debate all together. Maybe someone can start a new thread debating life support and when (or for many of you, IF) it's appropriate to pull the plug.

As for viability with regards to this particular topic, I was simply answering Al's question and based on what I'd heard.
It doesn't matter if I've had my coffee or not.

Well I'd say "viability" is a cop-out answer of someone who just doesn't care or is looking for an easy excuse to justify an abortion or is just not thinking things through clearly & logically.

Besides, what if one defined "viable" as one who can eat by themselves and take care of themselves? Then some could justify killing babies up to a few years old.

Or what about "viable" meaning can exist all by themselves? Then we'd all be kill-able since no one can live all by themselves as we all depend on the resources the earth provides (oxygen, food, atmosphere, etc.). No one is viable all by themselves.

Anyway... just some more thoughts that come to mind.

While we're at it, let's go ahead and also throw in people who post ridiculous and irrelevant replies because they are unable to support their arguments to the brain-dead list......... brain dead is brain dead.........

Posting irrelevant replies in any of your abortion threads is the only thing that is fun, because trying to argue with your pig headed narrowed minded one way thinking its "my way or the highway" views gets real old. It is like trying to argue with a 5 year old throwing a tantrum.............you're never going to win the argument so it is easier to just make irrelevant posts to counter act your irrelevant viewpoints.

I guess the same thing must apply to your pig headed narrowed minded one way thinking its "my way or the highway" views. Aren't you aware that you are just as "pig headed" when it comes to your views? Trying to convince you of anything, even with good arguments, is indeed like trying to argue with a 5 year old throwing a tantrum. It works both ways, you know... but I'm sure you probably won't see the similarity... so go ahead and have some fun. I'll just ignore your silly posts from now on. If you have something reasonable to say, or manage to come up with a reasonable response to a question or point that has been made, then I might take it more seriously.

I came up with a real world situation that I asked your opinion on and you quickly discounted any/all options other than reverting back to the bible and allowing a second healthy baby to die based upon the teaching of a 2000 year old book. In this particular case the baby in question was severely malformed, had part of its brain missing, and had severe heart defects. It had zero, I repeat ZERO chances of living when born and less than a 1% chance of even making it alive to the third trimester. You may consider it living/life but in the medical world it was never going to be a living creature outside the womb. But you fall back on the "I don't trust doctors, they can be wrong, and I'd prefer to rely on the bible for my guidance". You would sooner let the other baby die because of your mistrust for doctors and views that are blinded by a 2000 year old book.

So in my mind trying to have a logical argument with you is pointless when you cannot even trust a doctor then the evidence is so overwhelming that 99.9% of reasonable people could understand it.

And yes, I'm pigheaded..............but I'm at least man enough to admit it. You sir will never admit to it.

So you are never happy? I think it is pretty obvious that I answered your question but you didn't like my answer. Well, I don't like your answer & rationalization why it's ok to directly kill an innocent because you think it will save someone else.

Perhaps if you go back and read more of my messages then you'd find that I admitted I am not going to divert from some of my views (because I trust God & 2000 years of unchanging faith & morals more than your (or any other person's) 5 minutes of thinking). But congrats on thinking so highly of yourself as to be man enough to admit the obvious.
