Great idea in theory. But let's say you are down to your last few "ions" on your charge and have to use them up, driving around the parking lot to find one of 2 charging stations. After finding them, both are filled with giant, gas guzzling balooga SUV's full of soccer kids, waiting to play in the fountain.

Ug, I need fuel and I'm dreading actually paying $4+ for it. Unless Shell is low enough I can use my Kroger card and get it for less than $4, which means 1 cycle of the pump which means about 1/3 of a tank. Probably easier to go somewhere else where I can actually run the pump past $100 with out having to stop! $100 will actually get me about 1/2 tank.

I thought about that, add ramps and I can park it in the back of my truck for when I might need it. :D

Received a Letter to the Editor in the mail today from a local resident concerned about gas prices. :D

Wow! I didn't know admin had that much power! So, what's your plan admin and why haven't you gotten gas down to 89 cents already? If the GOP can do it, then why can't you? :D

It's nice to know that some kids still think a newspaper editor can move mountains.

That's cool!!! :D

But hey, if you can even get diesel back below $4, I'd be much obliged. ;)

I had this receipt from a fill-up in 1998-1999 in Plano when one of these large gas stations opened on Legacy and had a price war. $0.79 per gallon. I wish I knew what I did with that.

Nope... Not even close.

And reports say gas consumption is falling again... I wonder if it will knock us back into recession, though people are better able to handle it now than they were in 2008 (less gas guzzlers, more fuel efficiency, etc).

Seeing your new logo, I propose you rename your handle to "Cheap-gas-Al." :P
