And a related article about Nintendo... they are in trouble too unless they have something great up their sleeves.

A Perfect Storm: Is Nintendo Burning Next?

Stephen Elop's burning platform memo is already legendary and considered one of the most moving and impressive efforts to save something that is virtually impossible to save in a race against all odds. Nokia has not fallen into desperation over night, at least not in the public eye. Nokia has been facing increasingly potent competition for some time. It is just now that Nokia had the guts to admit that it failed and needs to abandon ship to survive. Is that what will be happening to Nintendo as well?

UPDATE: This reminds me of Commodore... and how they were riding so high at one point. The Commodore 64 was the best selling computer model of all time. There's a great book on it if anyone is interested.

Now THAT'S common sense.

Nintendo? I have a Wii and a DS and a DSI XL and will be replacing the DS with a DSi this summer for my daughter. Sony sucks.

In March the DS3D will come out for $250. Don't buy the DSi.

I was there the other day (against my will) and was shocked on how dead it was, and the amount of inventory they have. I can't see them lasting another 12 months.

JC Penney's new sales strategy: at least 40% off all items

Couldn’t agree more! Personally, I like Kohls.

I read an article in Fortune or Forbes a month ago about his philosophies to change Penney's and was very skeptical. Not surprised to read that he is gone...
