Veteran's group report cards

Postby esemerson » Thu Oct 09, 2008 12:19 pm

These grades are from a non-partisan veterans group. Specifically veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan.

McCain - D
Obama - B
Biden - B

I wonder if Cindy McCain had any more cold chills down her spine when she saw this?

When you download and read the report you can see the difference (did YOU even read it?).

McCain scored 3 points and Obama scored 7. The difference is that McCain missed 6 votes due to campaigning and Obama missed 4. Obama got EXTRA CREDIT for sponsoring the GI Bill that this particular organization liked and no points for sponsoring a competing GI BIll.

Hardly a case to make that McCain does not support Veterans.

i read it. Just pointing out the results. No need to get snippy.

If the McCain campaign can run around a spew that Obama cut funding for troops, then this is fair to post.

McCain voted to cut funding for troops because a withdrawal time line was attached. Obama voted against funding when a time line was not attached.

So essentially you have a desperate McPalin running around telling distortions of the truth at their rallies. Which by the way are getting scarier by the day. Truth be told it is irresponsible and dangerous to incite that kind of anger.

It is also dumb, they are only getting their base fired up. Tactics such as that do not sway independent voters. And of course Palin will not get in front of a reporter unless it is on Fox. God forbid people get to know her and ask relevant questions.
