Race Weekend Traffic Alert

Engines are revving up at TMS & traffic around 114 & 35W will be in low gear as crowds flood in to see the weekend races.

Contra-flow traffic will be in place Friday night as well as Saturday & Sunday starting as early as 7AM. Through traffic on WB 114 will need to turn at I-35W northbound to FM 407 to avoid getting routed into Texas Motor Speedway & all EB114 traffic will be directed to SB 35W. To return to SH 114, take SH 170. All other lanes will be directed into the speedway.

Traffic is encouraged to utilize FM 156 to Doc Mitchell/Petty Pl. or Earnhardt Blvd. to enter the speedway, if possible.

Also remember starting at 8PM Friday until 6AM Monday, the EB 114 service road will be closed east of William D Tate with a detour to Texan Trail & WB 114 service road will be closed with a detour to Ira E Woods. The Tate Bridge will also be reduced to 1 lane in each direction for roadwork.
