From Square One:

Thank You Flower Mound!

With the impending arrival of our new store in Old Town Lewisville, Lindsay and I have had to make a very big decision because we were literally bursting at the seams of our Flower Mound location. Upon conversation with our property management company we were able to negotiate a contract to terminate our lease with the option of returning to Parker Square when we could expand to a larger, more guest friendly restaurant space. Trying to build out and manage a new store in Old Town, and negotiate a new lease and build out of a new store in Parker Square simultaneously is nearly impossible, so we have decided to put it off for six months or so.

We have met many guests whom have become great friends and we look back at the many great experiences we have shared with community of Flower Mound, we hope to continue these relationships in the future.

Our biggest concern with our space in Parker Square, was that we couldn't serve our customers to our standards. We constantly had to close early for catering events, adjust our hours of operation, or were so busy we had no seats for all of our guests. We didn't even have a public restroom available, and on many occasions had to send our customers to our neighbors, thankfully they were accommodating to our needs!

Our new Old Town Lewisville store provides all these resources as well as being able to expand our wide variety of options and add to our menu without having to close. Our new options will include most of our old favorites as well as unique burgers, and fresh made pastas. We will also be able to be open for dinner!!! Chef Lindsay will be creating some fabulous new dinner options that will rotate on a bi-weekly or monthly schedule. We will also continue to be BYOB and non-smoking.

I know many will be disappointed, but we are moving just three miles down the road, so we can maintain our high standards for our guests. We will have adequate parking, two full restrooms, a large dining room, a 2000 square foot patio, and a huge kitchen space for Chef Lindsay to create even more unique items. We hope you join us in our new location and come to see what great things Old Town Lewisville has to offer.

And yes, the rumors are true... We ARE actively looking at other larger locations in the Flower Mound area, including Parker Square, as soon as we can get the Lewisville location operational we will look to build an even bigger and better store in Flower Mound.

Please stay tuned to our e-mails and Facebook for our opening day!

Thanks,
Lindsay & Travis Holladay

Square One has made it to full open and now begun dinner as well.

Mon - Sat: 7:00 am - 8:00 pm
Sun: 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Follow them on Facebook for the latest. I think they're going to be doing similar to what they used do when they'd come up with different daily menu items. I forgot what they'll call it now, but it'll be aside from the menu and kind of a Chef's choice kind of thing. The cool thing about that is that they always seemed to be a creative chef's dream, go wild and come up with somehting cool. Sometimes it won't be your thing, sometimes it'll rock but everything is always fresh and really well made.

No, I not getting paid, or getting free food either. They're just that good. :D
