Does anyone have any good spots to watch the fireworks, other than Copperas Park???

I.E. - Is there a good place somewhere just off I-35 or other parking lot that you can watch them and then get out right after they are done??

On the water. :D We usually go out early and anchor in a good spot, then stay out until most of the masses leave so we stay out of the on water chaos. We usually end up with friends and 10+ boats rafted up and the view is great!

Other than that, and to your question, I think PD's keep a pretty good eye out for people parking on private parking lots and sides of roads where it causes problems, but you'd be surprised at how many people stop right on the bridge on I35. I wouldn't want to be in the traffic it causes though.
