It's 12-14 acres that a long time resident, Larry Davis, willed to the town. I think he died in 2007 or 2008? Actually it may have been earlier than that because the nature club by daughter was in in Elementary donated a bench. If I recall, that was the first thing ever donated to it.
Mr. Davis had certain things the town had to agree to before he died, and they did. 1 was that it would be dedicated to his late wife. I think a couple years ago an historic building/house was moved and set up there as well.
