An unidentified man died Friday night after he was struck by a vehicle while trying to cross FM 2499 in Flower Mound:

Not likely something I'm going to forget. Nobody likes seeing a dead person lying like that in the street covered by a blanket. I hope they find out who he is though.

I can't imagine trying to cross there on foot during the day, let alone at 8:20 PM on a Friday night.

How tragic though. Not only does the family suffer, but like you said, seeing something like that is something you don't soon forget. My memory is weak at best yet I have a few images of things like that etched in my brain.
