Just another example of what is wrong with the youth we are raising in today's society. Let's sue the officer for pulling you over for a plate that is hard to read, acting suspiciously, spraying cologne over yourself during the stop, and admitting to having marijuana seeds in the car

From the article

However, he did admit there was a small amount of marijuana seeds in the back seat of the car.

Instead of being happy for having the charges dropped this punk kid is suing the city of FM and wants to cause havoc on the officer's lives......for doing their jobs!

Here is a hint Mr. Dumb A$$ 18 yr old punk............don't have marijuana seeds in the back of your car and you'll generally not have problems with the police.

Most likely the 18 yr old kid didn't run out and get a lawyer this on his own. They're probably stirring up dust to make it go away. More likely it's Mom and Dad trying to keep him looking clean for school. It'll be interesting to see how it plays out now that he has a lawyer and gotten the media involved. Another life lesson for youth of today; don't hold yourself accountable if you can blame someone else for long enough to get away. He'll do well on Wall Street. :D

He admitted to the officer to having seeds in the car (stupid on his part) which would lead one to believe there's more than a probability that he's had or has more than seeds in the car. I'm no lawyer or LEO but once the kid admitted he had seeds, I think they legally have probable cause to search. Besides, how did pot or pot seeds even come up in the conversation?

The Officer said in the video, the kid started spraying cologne on himself as well as acting nervous. If I get pulled over, the last thing on my mind is to put on cologne. That's just strange. I think he got very close to really getting caught but got lucky. He ought to be thankful and walk away.

The bottom line appears to be that there wasn't anything more than the seeds and a box so the Prosecutor probably made the right call. But if the Texas Rangers have cleared the officer from wrong doing (from a legal standpoint) then I'm 100% confident that he did not violate any law. That doesn't mean he wasn't walking a very fine line with the stop and I think they are pretty good at that, which is fine, if public safety is at issue.

He should have spet the night in the tank with "Bubba". Sounds like your typical spoiled brat.
