Do they need one with when to blow your nose, or wipe your.....never mind. Glad Mama is taking care of the kids.

Her Majesty is so damned stubborn! She spent two months thinking this was only an issue of folks taking responsibility for the problem by keeping their pools treated, their stock ponds dunked, and their various recepticles free of water!
I am 100% in agreement with the mayor on personal responsibility, but this issue goes well beyond folks turning over water laden flower pots! We are still semi rural here, and our town is contiguous to the land controlled by the Corp of Engineers. There is so much land and water that is not directly controlled by homeowners that it is not realistic to believe that we can tackle the problem merely by turning over containers or putting dunks in stock ponds.
We defeated malaria in this country by the copious use of insecticides. There is NO reason for our citizens to become ill and risk death because our mayor is stubborn enough to think this is solely an issue of personal responsibility.
She can take her damned signs - which are a total waste of money - and go "dunk" them, and her stubborn, willful head, into the mosquito larvae infested waters of Copper Canyon.
In the meantime I am thankful both for the beneficial effects of the spraying (while being mindful of the negative effects), and for the advent of autumn, which will hopefully bring an early, and exceedingly hard, frost.
