Do we have any more input to this list? I am in desparate need of ordering out tonight!

My husband does the cooking, but also does alot of traveling. He usually hooks me up with some good leftovers before a trip but I am almost out! Yes I know I am spoiled. But if you knew my little one, you would know why I just don't have enough energy at the end of the day to cook for myself. I used to order from China Palace about twice a week, but I had an incident a couple of months ago and have not ordered from them since. And from the looks of their building it looks like they are either rennovating or closing down.
Take care,
Angela

What are Garlic Jim's prices?? I didn't see them on the menu or the thing on our door...

Also, we usually order from Bari's and was dissappointed to see they raised their prices and still have the $2 delivery fee. We ordered a small cheese and a large Hawaiian and it cam to $24!!! I think that is a bit much for non specialty pizzas! Or maybe it's just me...it wouldn't be the first time  So it looks like we might be trying out these other places...

I hate to say, I was VERY disappointed in Garlic Jims.

I ordered the Queen Margherita pizza.

In the menu it is described as "Garlic-infused olive oil base simply topped with fresh basil, roasted garlic, and fresh tomatoes on our thin crust."

So for Margherita pizza I am used to nice big slices of roma tomato, FRESH mozzarella, and FRESH basil.

When I got this pizza I was expecting the same since the price was high ($20.57 for a large and a 2 liter coke) This pizza was less than OK, not sure if it was because I had high expectations, but I just didn't vibe it. It had diced tomatoes, but like regular big red tomatoes, which have completely different flavor than Roma tomatoes, had pre-packaged mozzarella, and the garlic pieces on this pizza were the size of small marbles, which was kind of weird . So overall I just didn't like it.

Now, given that, I will give them another try in a couple of months. I always find that restaurants seem to be better after they have been opened up for a while and have had a chance to settle in.

Also, based on the menu, the medium specialty pizzas start at $14.49, Large start at $ 16.99, and XL start at 19.99.

Maybe Al can do an actual review of this place as he is the King of Restaraunt reviews! :D

:) For pizza around here, try Johnny Brusco's. Maybe they deliver now but didn't last time I asked. I have not tried Garlic Jim's.
