Flower Mound Police Blotter

The following was compiled from Flower Mound Police Department incident and arrest reports:

On Aug. 25 at 3:11 p.m., a resident in the 1900 block of Pin Oak Drive reported that someone burglarized a home and stole two rings valued $6,000 total.

On Aug. 26 at 3:43 a.m., a 34-year-old man was arrested in the 6600 block of Cross Timbers Road on suspicion of DWI with a child in the vehicle, a state jail felony.

On Aug. 27 at 1:38 p.m., a man reported that someone stole $2,770.17 in cash from the 3500 block of Mayhaw Drive.

On Aug. 27 at 3:57 p.m., a business reported that $77,654 was stolen from the 1200 block of Lakeside Parkway.

On Aug. 29 at 9:01 a.m., a business reported the theft of property valued $3,290 from the 2200 block of Malick Drive.

On Aug. 31 at 1:53 p.m., a 47-year-old woman was arrested in the 500 block of Enterprise Drive on suspicion of aggravated assault with a weapon, a first-degree felony.

On Sept. 10 at 6:45 a.m., a 40-year-old man was arrested on a warrant for invasive visual recording, a state jail felony.

On Sept. 13 at 10:45 a.m., a 28-year-old man was arrested in the 1600 block of Yaggi Drive on a warrant out of Dallas County for aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury, a second-degree felony.

On Sept. 13 at 12:03 p.m., a 25-year-old woman was arrested in the 4000 block of South Broadway Avenue on suspicion of possession of marijuana, between 4 ounces and 5 pounds. The charge was enhanced to a third-degree felony because it was in a drug-free zone.

On Sept. 13 at 4:46 p.m., a man reported the theft of $11,474 in cash from the 4900 block of North Creek Crossing.

On Sept. 15 at 11:04 a.m., a business in the 5800 block of Long Prairie Road reported the theft of perfume valued $4,632.

On Sept. 18 at 5:16 p.m., a business reported the theft of a $4,000 bicycle from the 2500 block of Lakeside Parkway.

On Sept. 21 at 5:07 p.m., a 47-year-old woman was arrested at the intersection of Cross Timbers Road and High Road on suspicion of DWI with a child in the vehicle, a state jail felony.

On Sept. 22 at 12:28 p.m., a 27-year-old man was arrested in the 1100 block of Flower Mound Road on suspicion of two felony prescription drug fraud crimes, one a second-degree felony and the other a Class B misdemeanor. He also had a similar warrant out of Hood County for a Class A misdemeanor prescription drug fraud charge.

On Sept. 27 at 1:27 a.m., a 22-year-old man was arrested in the 800 block of Cross Timbers Road on suspicion of tampering/fabricating with physical evidence with intent to impair and possession of a prohibited substance in a correctional facility, both third-degree felonies. He was also charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance – one a state jail felony and the other a Class A misdemeanor – as well as a Class A charge of unlawful carry of a weapon and a Class B charge of possession of a marijuana.

On Sept. 27 at 2:55 a.m., a 43-year-old man was arrested at the corner of Cross Timbers Road and Morriss Road on a warrant out of Dallas County for assaulting a household member impeding breath/circulation, a third-degree felony. He was also placed on an ICE hold.

On Sept. 27 at 8:02 a.m., a construction business reported the theft of equipment valued $20,500 from the 2800 block of Lakeside Parkway.

On Sept. 27 at 5 p.m., a 48-year-old woman was arrested in the 4900 block of Long Prairie Road on a warrant for diversion of controlled substance for personal use, a state jail felony.
