Local Teen Court to host ‘Teen Talk’ on human trafficking

Next week, the Lewisville/Flower Mound Teen Court will host a “Teen Talks” presentation about human trafficking, according to a news release from the town of Flower Mound.

The Teen Talk will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Aug. 23 at the Flower Mound Municipal Court, 4150 Kirkpatrick Lane. Attendees must be there by 5:30 p.m. sharp to receive community service hours.

Teen Talks are presentations, videos and conversations with police officers and other subject matter experts on subjects such as traffic safety, distracted driving, minors and alcohol, alcohol and drug abuse, binge drinking, drunk and drugged driving, internet safety, shoplifting and other subjects related to juveniles and the law, according to the town website.
