Flower Mound Police Blotter

The following was compiled from Flower Mound Police Department incident and arrest reports:

On Jan. 25 at 7:40 p.m., a 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, a third-degree felony.

On Jan. 25 at 4:09 a.m., a 21-year-old man from Hurst was arrested on several warrants out of Arkansas County, including first-degree aggravated robbery, third-degree unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and others.

On Jan. 27 at 2:44 p.m., a manager of the Justice store at 5801 Long Prairie Road reported that someone stole clothing valued at more than $1,900.

On Jan. 29 at 10:20 a.m., a 20-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of DWI in the 5200 block of Long Prairie Road. After she was taken to jail, a detention officer found various loose pills in a compartment in her purse. She now also faces one third-degree felony charge, one state jail felony charge and two Class A misdemeanor charges of possession of controlled substances.

On Jan. 31 at 2:45 p.m., a business reported that someone stole a washer, dryer and another item valued at a total of $1,300.

On Feb. 4 at 4:04 p.m., residents in the 2200 block of Timberglen Drive reported that their car was stolen.

On Feb. 5 at 1:30 p.m., a woman reported that someone stole jewelry valued $3,500 from the 6000 block of Pine Valley Drive.

On Feb. 5 at 3:21 p.m., residents in the 1300 block of Rosewood Trail reported that someone broke into their home and stole jewelry valued more than $38,000, as well as $1,000 in other property and $2,000 in cash.

On Feb. 7 at 5 a.m., a man reported that someone broke into his vehicle in the 600 block of Enterprise Drive and stole a radio valued nearly $1,000 and caused $1,000 in damage.

On Feb. 9 at 10:45 a.m., a fraudulent wire transfer of more than $65,000 was reported at Funimation Entertainment, 1200 Lakeside Parkway.

On Feb. 10 at 5:24 p.m., a woman reported that someone stole jewelry valued nearly $40,000 from her home in the 400 block of Northwood Drive.

On Feb. 13 at 7:18 p.m., Bowen Eye Care reported the theft of contact lenses valued nearly $1,200.

On Feb. 16 at 7:32 p.m., the Tom Thumb grocery store at 2600 Flower Mound Road reported that three people stole beer and Nesquik drinks.

On Feb. 17 at 8:54 a.m., a resident in the 1600 block of Springwood Road reported the theft of a $10,000 ring.

On Feb. 17 at 11:09 a.m., U-Haul reported the theft of a $6,000 vehicle from the 3000 block of Justin Road.

On Feb. 19 at 8:10 p.m., a resident in the 1900 block of Strait Lane reported the theft of electronics valued more than $1,000.

On Feb. 20 at 8 a.m., a church in the 6000 block of Morriss Road reported vandalism that caused $2,500 in damage.

On Feb. 21 at 2:37 a.m., a resident in the 3900 block of Sweetgum Court reported the theft of his $9,000 vehicle. It was recovered.
