The town of Flower Mound recently posted on its website the results of 2017 Retail & Restaurant survey.
More than 1,450 residents responded late last year to the town’s survey, which asked them about what stores and eateries residents would like to open up shop in Flower Mound. Town staff uses the survey results to inform their recruitment efforts of specific businesses.
A few weeks ago, the town named the most requested restaurants and stores, but the rest of the survey results had not been posted.
More than two-thirds of all the responses requested more major chain restaurants, such as Olive Garden and Red Lobster. The most requested restaurant category was Tex-Mex, followed by delis, burger shops, steakhouses and Italian restaurants.
